Guided ebike Trips on Dartmoor

Our ebikes make exploring Dartmoor fun and easy.  We can take up to 5 people aged 14 and upwards, which make them a great family activity.  Our short trip is 15-20km so you can use the full power of our ebikes without the worry of running out of battery.  We also offer a longer 25-30km trip depending on your battery management.  At the start of the ride you will be shown how our ebikes work and learn the skills to make the most of your trip.  We always aim to find a quiet place for a break to enjoy the views, take pictures, drink and eat any food you have brought with you.  Our trips are all about being out on the moors enjoying ourselves.  Over the summer mouths with more day light we can run evening rides please email on aaron@dartmoor-ebiking.com to book a evening ride.

North Moor trips, Belstone and Okehampton Train Station

We have a number of trips in this area to suit everyone,  all of which start close to Okehampton.

Belstone: 15-20km short trip

This trip is great for anybody with a small amount of off road experience and keen to see what an ebike can do.

We make our way over the moors and up the Okement valley with some great views, and on a clear day you can see all  the way to the sea.  Our ebikes will help you conquer the rocky climbs and tracks.

Okehampton Train Station: 15-20km short strip

Step off the train and onto an ebike for a great ride using military roads to make our way up onto the moors. This is a great ride if you're looking for something a little smoother than our Belstone ride.

Meldon Reservoir: 25-30 Km long trip

We use the Granite Way to make our way up onto the moors by Belstone, from here, there are plenty of route options back to the start.

Northern Explorer exra long 35-40km

This is the longest trip we run and it really shows why we love riding ebikes.  We have combined all the best riding and views in the area to make a great all day adventure with a pub stop mid-ride for lunch and drinks.

All starting points can be arranged once the trip is booked.  If you are unsure which trip is best for you please don't hesitate to get in touch,

Midmoor Trips, Princetown and Burrator

Our Midmoor trips from Four Winds Car Park or Princetown, have a variety of routes ranging from 15km to 30km.  All of which head out towards Foggingtor Quarry and Burrator Reservoir. Most of the riding is spent on good tracks that are fairly smooth.

Here you will find some stunning views over-looking the Reservoir and Sheepstor.  There is a real sense of remoteness, especially on our longer rides. This part of Dartmoor has a rich history, which can be seen on our guided trip.

If you're looking to fill hungry tummies after your ride, I would recommend the Fox Tor Cafe in  Princetown.
